JUST IN: Nnamdi Kanu Issues Fresh Directives to IPOB, Cautions Members Against Attacks

By Jamisi News Desk

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has issued a fresh set of directives to members of the proscribed group, warning them to desist from attacks and actions capable of escalating violence.
In the latest message attributed to him, Kanu reportedly cautioned IPOB members and supporters against engaging in any form of violent confrontation, stressing the need for discipline and strict adherence to instructions from the movement’s leadership.
According to the update, the IPOB leader emphasized that any actions carried out in the name of the group without authorization should be immediately halted, noting that such activities undermine the group’s stated objectives and expose innocent people to danger.
The development comes amid heightened security concerns in parts of the South-East, where repeated attacks and counter-operations have continued to raise tension.
Authorities are yet to officially respond to the reported directives, but the statement has already sparked reactions across the region, with many observers describing it as a significant intervention at a critical time.
Jamisi News will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as more details emerge.
