Kasuwan Daji Massacre: Tinubu Orders Total Manhunt, Demands Swift Justice for Victims

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has issued a firm and far-reaching directive to Nigeria’s top security hierarchy to hunt down and apprehend the perpetrators of the deadly Kasuwan Daji attack in Niger State, insisting that they must be brought to justice without delay.
The directive, contained in a statement released on Sunday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, charged the Minister of Defence, the Chief of Defence Staff, the Service Chiefs, the Inspector-General of Police, and the Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS) to act decisively.
Jamisi Newsline reports that terrorists on Sunday stormed a bustling village market in Kabe District, Borgu Local Government Area of Niger State, unleashing a brutal attack that claimed the lives of nearly 40 innocent citizens and left the community in deep mourning.
Beyond ordering an all-out manhunt, President Tinubu also directed security agencies to urgently rescue all persons abducted during the attack, stressing that the safety of Nigerians remains a top priority of his administration.
In a strongly worded message, the President condemned the assault and reaffirmed the resolve of the Nigerian state to confront terrorism head-on.
“These terrorists have tested the resolve of our country and its people. They must, therefore, face the full consequences of their criminal actions. No matter who they are or what their intent is, they must be hunted down. They, and all those who aid, abet, or enable them in any form, will be caught and brought to justice,” President Tinubu declared.
