The President’s reaction was shared in a post on the official X (formerly Twitter) handle of The Cable on February 14, 2026, shortly after he attended the colourful cultural event in Argungu, Kebbi State.
In a video that has since gone viral, President Tinubu was seen laughing heartily as various fishes caught during the festival were displayed before him. Upon being handed the largest fish, the President jokingly remarked that it would “make a special meal,” drawing applause and excitement from the crowd.
