Oyedele Hakeem Alao, popularly known as Allow Alao, today formally declared his intention to contest for the office of Governor of Oyo State in the forthcoming gubernatorial election, unveiling a bold and people-driven movement tagged “Redemption 2027.”
Addressing party leaders, stakeholders, youths, women groups, professionals, artisans, and supporters from across the state, Engr. Alao presented a compelling vision anchored on competence, integrity, inclusiveness, and purposeful leadership. His declaration marks the beginning of a renewed struggle to rescue Oyo State from stagnation and set it firmly on the path of sustainable development.
A seasoned engineer, administrator, and grassroots mobilizer, Allow Alao emphasized that Oyo State deserves a government that works for all, not a privileged few. He pledged to build a people-centered administration focused on economic revival, massive job creation, industrial growth, security of lives and property, agricultural modernization, quality education, accessible healthcare, and infrastructural renewal across all zones of the state.
