Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola has extended his warmest congratulations to former First Lady of Oyo State, Florence Ajimobi, on her well-deserved appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to the Republic of Austria by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a congratulatory statement issued on Saturday, Hon. Akinjide described the appointment as a recognition of Dr. Ajimobi’s outstanding leadership qualities, dedication to public service, and her long-standing commitment to the development of society.
According to him, Dr. Ajimobi has consistently demonstrated exceptional character, compassion, and capacity in both public and private life, particularly during her years of service as the First Lady of Oyo State where she championed various humanitarian and empowerment initiatives that positively impacted women, youths, and vulnerable members of the society.
Hon. Akinjide noted that President Tinubu’s decision to appoint Dr. Ajimobi as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Austria is not only a testament to her competence and experience but also a clear reflection of the administration’s commitment to placing capable and reputable Nigerians in positions where they can effectively represent the country on the global stage.
He further stated that Dr. Ajimobi possesses the diplomatic temperament, intellectual depth, and leadership acumen required to strengthen bilateral relations between Nigeria and Austria, while also promoting Nigeria’s interests in areas such as trade, cultural exchange, education, and international cooperation.
