Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akionla (AKA) has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Nigeria, with special greetings to the people of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, on the occasion of Ileya (Eid-ul-Adha).
In his Ileya message, Hon. Akionla described Eid-ul-Adha as a profound season of faith, obedience, sacrifice, and compassion, drawing lessons from the exemplary submission of Prophet Ibrahim (AS). He urged Muslims and all residents of the constituency to embrace the deeper meaning of the celebration by showing love, tolerance, and generosity to one another.
“I pray that Allah (SWT) accepts our sacrifices and rewards our acts of kindness. May He bless our homes with peace, our families with good health, and our community with progress and unity,” he said.
Hon. Akionla further encouraged the people of Egbeda/Ona-Ara to remain steadfast and hopeful, noting that collective sacrifice and unity remain the strongest tools for overcoming social and economic challenges.
“As we celebrate Ileya, let us renew our commitment to the growth and development of our constituency. By standing together, supporting our youths, and caring for the less privileged, we can build a stronger, more prosperous Egbeda/Ona-Ara for all,” he added.
He concluded by praying for continued harmony and divine guidance for the constituency and the nation at large, wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous and spiritually fulfilling celebration.
