Minaret University Kick Starts,Appoints Prof. Abdullah as pioneer VC.

Minaret University in Ikirun, Osun State, has appointed Professor Abdur-Rahman Oladele Abdullah as its first Vice-Chancellor.

This development comes after the Federal Executive Council approved the university, along with 10 others, on March 4, 2025. Minaret University was founded in 2021 by Jamaat-e-Ahmadiyya Nigeria, marking a significant milestone in faith-based education in the country.

The institution marks a significant milestone in faith-based higher education in Nigeria and was established with the approval and blessings of the Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, Khalifatul Masih V (May Allah be his Helper).
