By Jamisi Newsline

Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola (AKA) extends his warmest Eid Mubarak greetings to all Muslims in Oyo State, and most especially to the good people of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, as the Ummah across the world celebrates the joyous and blessed festival of Eid al-Fitr.
Eid marks the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan—a period of deep reflection, sacrifice, self-discipline, compassion, and renewed faith. It is a divine reward from Allah (SWT) for steadfastness in fasting, prayers, charity, and righteous conduct.
Allah (SWT) says in the Glorious Qur’an:
“O you who believe! Fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may attain righteousness.”
(Qur’an 2:183)
Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola (AKA) prays that the lessons of Ramadan—patience, humility, love for humanity, and fear of Allah—remain with us beyond this sacred month and guide our daily lives, leadership, and relationships with one another.
He further supplicates:
“Our Lord, accept from us. Indeed, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.”
(Qur’an 2:127)
As families and communities come together in celebration, Hon. AKA calls on Muslims to uphold the values of peace, unity, tolerance, and mutual respect, which Islam strongly promotes. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
“The believers, in their mutual kindness, compassion, and sympathy, are just like one body; when one part of it suffers, the whole body responds with wakefulness and fever.”
(Sahih Muslim)
He reassures the people of Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency of his continued commitment to their welfare, development, and representation, and prays that Allah (SWT) blesses the constituency, Oyo State, and Nigeria with peace, progress, and prosperity.
Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola (AKA) concludes with prayers for divine mercy, forgiveness, and abundant blessings upon all Muslims, saying:
“May Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds, forgive our shortcomings, and grant us lasting peace and joy.”
Eid Mubarak!
May this Eid bring renewed hope, good health, unity, and Allah’s endless blessings to every home.
Signed:
Hon. Akinjide Kazeem Akinola (AKA)
Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency
